ATC issues another letter for Imran production

ISLAMABAD:

An anti-terrorism court (ATC) on Thursday once again wrote a letter to the relevant authorities to either hold a jail trial of former prime minister Imran Khan or present him in the court in a slew of vandalism cases.

Islamabad ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sapra resumed hearing of cases registered against Imran Khan and others in connection with the PTI’s Azadi march protest. The court noted that the response to its earlier letter had not yet been received.

While announcing to write another letter to this effect, the court adjourned the hearing till July 16. Cases were registered against the PTI founder and others in Sangjani police station.
