ISLAMABAD:

Substantive cooperation outcomes have been achieved recently between Jinan Animal Husbandry Industry Craftsman College and Pakistani counterparts after a visit to Pakistan from January 19 to 24, held in conjunction with the 2026 China-Pakistan Agriculture Investment Conference.

The collaboration injects new impetus into bilateral livestock industry development, aligning with the advancement of CPEC 2.0. During the visit, two key cooperation documents were signed to solidify consensus, the college revealed. It inked a Framework Agreement on Industrial and Technological Cooperation and Talent Training with Pakistan-China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCJCCI) to jointly establish the China-Pakistan Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Industry Technology Cooperation Centre, which will undertake technological R&D, standard-setting and customised talent training.

A Memorandum of Understanding was also signed with GO Dairy Private Limited, focusing on the transfer of sheep in vitro fertilisation and dairy cow breeding technologies, alongside tailoured solutions and on-site expert guidance to address the enterprise’s breeding bottlenecks.
