In a recent Ramazan transmission, hosted by Pakistani actor and TV Host Faysal Quraishi, he discussed Hania Aamir’s hefty podcast appearance fee with FHM podcast host, Adnan Faisal.
Approaching the conversation, Quraishi asked Faysal, “You had a payment issue with someone. An artist demanded Rs2 million from you. Please tell us about it”.
Faysal replied by saying that “It is Hania Aamir’s choice if she asked for two million. We haven’t paid that much to anyone”.
Quraishi then went on to say that “Hania Aamir is a big star who actually deserves that two million. It could have been a bigger achievement for you if she had graced your show. The views would have gone into millions”.
This turned into a comedic debate where Faysal said he refused to believe that Quraishi was not as big of a star as Hania to which Quraishi set the record straight – she is the biggest star today and has an international reach.
“Hum toh local hai na yaar, Mahole mai jo nahi hota”, he joked.
Pakistani entrepreneur and content creator, Meiraj Haq then came out with a video, discussing the double standards behind Faysal’s comment.
He posted a video to his Instagram, in which he shared screenshots of the FHM podcast reaching out to him themselves and demanding Rs285,000, to be on the podcast and cover production costs.
He asks a serious question: If Adnan Faisal can get so offended by a Pakistani actress asking him for money, should we also be offended?
