A judicial magistrate in East district on Saturday remanded a building owner to police custody for seven days in connection with a deadly roof collapse in Soldier Bazaar that claimed 15 lives, including children, amid allegations of an illegally installed gas line that triggered an explosion.
The case was heard before the Judicial Magistrate (East), where police produced the accused, identified as Muhammad Irshad, and sought his physical remand to complete the investigation.
