Robert Pattinson is serving more than just screen presence these days. In a collaboration with Vogue for its series A Toast to Cinema, the actor stepped behind the bar to celebrate his latest film, The Drama. which is already doing well at the box office, stars Pattinson alongside Zendaya.

As he mixed six cocktails inspired by different moments from his film journey, Pattinson opened up about his career with refreshing honesty. Between shaking drinks and sharing his favourite recipes, he reflected on his time working on The Batman, calling it a defining moment.

Being part of such a long-standing legacy, he explained, came with pressure. “You don’t want to ruin it,” he said, noting how the character connects generations. According to him, there is something almost timeless about Batman, something both older and younger audiences instantly understand.

Pattinson also discussed the responsibility actors feel when stepping into such roles. Everyone wants to leave their own mark, he said, without taking away from what came before. While praising the film’s director, Pattinson shared his admiration for the creative vision behind the project and how much he enjoyed being part of it.

The actor also recalled his experience wearing the batsuit. The shift, he said, was immediate. The moment he stepped onto set in costume, people around him began to act differently, more cautious, slightly intimidated, and careful to stay out of the way, Pattinson recalled. Laughing, he described the experience as surreal, even comparing it to “climbing Everest”.

Looking even further back, Pattinson discussed Twilight, the franchise that first made him a global name. With a hint of nostalgia, he admitted he envies his younger self, adding that if were offered the same role today, he is not sure he could perform it in the same way.

In his feature on the series, Pattinson blended personal taste with cinematic memory, offering glimpses into both his craft and personality. From behind-the-scenes stories to the films that shaped him, the segment felt both relaxed and revealing.

As The Drama continues to make its mark, Pattinson’s appearance on the Vogue series adds another layer to his evolving image, proving he can hold attention just as easily behind a bar as he does on screen.
