This was a major step forward in preparations for the 35th National Games Karachi 2025

Under the supervision of Coordinator Mohammad Nasir, the Sindh Softball Association successfully completed women’s softball trials across all divisions of the province for the upcoming 35th National Games.

The final phase of the trials was held at KMC Sports Complex, Karachi, where more than 40 talented female players participated. The event was graced by the presence of Muhammad Zeeshan Merchant (General Secretary, Sindh Softball Association), Mohammad Nasir Ehsan (Secretary Finance & Trials Coordinator), Murad Hussain (Director Game Development), and Ismail Shah (District Sports Officer East).

“The trials held across Sindh have proven that women’s softball talent is rapidly emerging in the province. The association is fully committed to providing these athletes with a strong platform to excel,” explained Zeeshan Merchant.

Trials Coordinator Mohammad Nasir Ehsan added, “Our goal is to ensure that young players receive modern training and the best possible opportunities to proudly represent Sindh at the national level.”

Meanwhile, District Sports Officer East Ismail Shah remarked,“Such trials not only promote sports but also create opportunities for women’s empowerment. The active participation of girls from all divisions of Sindh is truly encouraging.”

At the conclusion of the event, the association’s officials expressed their gratitude to all participating players and to District Sports Officer Ismail Shah for his special support. They also expressed hope that the selected team will deliver an outstanding performance at the 35th National Games Karachi 2025.
