President of the PBSF, Muhammad Waqas Warraich, is expected to visit Turkiye soon to explore avenues for deeper engagement in blind sports development.

The Turkish envoy expressed the hope that Pakistan would continue hosting more international sporting events, providing its athletes with greater exposure and opportunities to excel on the global stage.

He assured that Turkiye would continue to support PBSF and other initiatives aimed at empowering persons with disabilities through sports.

Senator Danesh Kumar graced the occasion as chief guest at the concluding ceremony, while Thailand’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Rongvudhi Virabutr, and officials from the Iranian Embassy were also present. The dignitaries distributed medals among the top-performing athletes and lauded their exceptional performances.

Earlier, South Korea secured the women’s bronze medal, outclassing Thailand 6–0 in a one-sided match that highlighted their superior precision and teamwork.

In the men’s final, powerhouse Iran maintained their dominance by defeating China 4–2 in a fiercely fought battle.
